Your Path to Becoming a Central Processing Technician
Do you enjoy working in health care, keeping things organized and using computers? Become a Central Processing Distribution Technician!
As a Central Processing Distribution Technician, you’ll make sure all medical tools and equipment are clean, sterilized and ready to use, helping keep patients safe from infections.
Our program prepares you for this vital role. And you can earn your certificate in just one semester after two prerequisite courses!
In our program you’ll learn:
- Sterile processing basics
- Microbiology
- Medical terminology
- Surgical technology, and more!
Employment-Ready Certificate
After receiving your certificate, you’ll be qualified to work in hospitals, outpatient care centers, clinics, surgical centers, dental offices and more.
You’ll also gain valuable hands-on experience, which will provide you with an excellent foundation for earning your associate degree in Surgical Technology, if you decide to pursue it.
